This image represents exactly the topics and learning that I am trying to teach for my future major. Physical education and Health education deals with exactly the words that are listed in this image. I like this image because it represents every category in my major and it is very important to teach these topics to all students. As a Physical education teacher, I will teach sports to students to motivate them to learn and enjoy on what they are participating in and teach the importance of health. Overall, students will have the skills and knowledge on all their participation and progress of PE. the blog I came across can be found here. The last post in his entry discussed how we future physical education teachers are supposed to grade the students. is it participation based? ,performance based?, and or discipline based?
The above pictures shows that having a website or blog as a teacher is an asset to students. In this modern world of technology, it is important that teacher use online sources to enhance their students’ learning.
I found this blog “MrE’s Algebrs Blod”, which I think is very interesting. It is very related to what I am going to teach because I am also a secondary school Math major. I found it very interesting how Mr. E has posted each lesson or whatever students learn in that particular day. It is cool that the teacher also provides link to show many related examples. I found this part very cool that the teacher posts the key points learned that particular day:
“We learned key phrases for lesson 5 (word translation problems):
- “Less than or equal to”, “is at most”, “no more than” — ≤
- “No less than”, “at least”, “more than or equal to” — ≥
- “Is less than” — <
- “Is greater than” — >”
I like this way of blogging because it is very clear to students and they will be able to review and do more examples on what they learned, after class.
The teacher’s way is very organized that he posts everyday
including the day of the class, date, and every details. It is excellent way to review after teaching and keep students up with the information they already learned.
I will love to create a blog similar to this.
